Welcome to Sierra Artists Gallery, located in the heart of historic downtown Mariposa, California. Since 1969, our member-run cooperative has showcased the creativity of local artists and artisans. Explore original works inspired by Yosemite National Park, the Sierra Foothills, and the imaginative visions of our talented members.

We’re grateful to share our community’s talent with visitors from around the world—come find the artwork that calls to you.

Our Winter Hours start when we Fall Back for Daylight Savings Time each year. We are open every day except Wednesday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM during the Fall/Winter season.

Our Summer Hours begin when we Spring forward. During the Spring/Summer season we are open every day except Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Several of our Gallery Members are participating in this annual Open Studios event at various locations. You can purchase the catalog at our Gallery or one of the other locations & find the directory with locations for each Artist.

April 2026, Sierra Artists Gallery hosted their second annual Mariposa Paint Out and it was a roaring success! Nearly 40 Artists came from near and far to paint en Plein air in Mariposa County.
